We inspire, equip and mobilize Christians to pray and share God's love in their daily lives and in strategic outreaches. We help leaders effectively impact their community in every area, such as poverty, education, health care, addiction, crime, government and spiritual development.
We work to identify the passions of Christians that correspond to these impact areas and connect them to those opportunities.
The result is a united community effort for every Christian to pray that God would move and to share Christ's love in word and deed. This leads to transformed lives and communities with the love of Jesus.
By the use of our media, training seminars, preaching and networking we connect with Christ followers and seekers around the world to foster their own spiritual transformation through Jesus.
Contact us if you would like the help of Matt Kearney and TransformNation to do this in your own community.
TransformNation has a 7-phase process that we take communities through with the intention that it is sustainable and repeatable.
As an organization we will help communities create their own missional network and assist existing networks. Some communities ask us to help us with different phases, but we recommend that each network go through all seven phases with the goal of sustainability.
First, we assemble pastors, ministry leaders, city government, and business leaders to meet together. We first gather to pray, share the vision for the community, and come up with a strategy to reach the community.
In this phase we share our vision and our strategy with the church congregations in the community. Most importantly we gather to pray for the community, worship God together, and disciple each other to be more missional everyday.
Launch compassion events to deliver humanitarian aid or social services to the community where volunteers can meet the needs of the community and share the Gospel in conversations. This may look different from community to community. Is your community challenged with homelessness? We’ll put together an event that helps the homeless. Are there a lot of elderly folks in your community? We’ll put together an event that helps them too. Wherever there is a need in your community we want to bring transformation in Jesus name. These events may also be coupled with the preaching of the Good News.
We want phases 1-3 to culminate with a major evangelistic outreach sharing the transforming message of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in the community. As people experience transformation through our compassion events and as some of those people come to Christ, we want everyone to invite their friends to hear a presentation of the Gospel.
This phase is essential to phases 1-4. As people accept Christ into their life we need to make sure that we connect them to a church family. This allows them to hear Biblical teaching from a pastor, worship in community, and to connect with other believers in a corporate setting.
Phase 6 goes a bit deeper than phase 5. In addition to simply connecting them with a church, we make sure that they connect with at least one believer or discipleship group where they can learn and grow through personal relationships. In this phase we give these small groups the option of using our material or their own.
Once all the phases are completed, the community leadership assesses how the campaign went. They determine how to do some things better and discover other needs they may have missed the first time. In this phase, they may discover that new ministries need to be created in order to meet certain needs and empower people in the community. Next, the phases are repeated and TransformNation becomes a rhythm of life for the community as Christians continue to deepen their relationship with God, pray for others, serve the community, and tell others about Jesus in ordinary conversations and other means.
